deBruyn Ferox V8 Supercar Stuns At 'Wheels at the Palace'

In the first week of September, the automotive world was abuzz with one event: the launch of Maarten de Bruyn's newest supercar at the 'Wheels at the Palace' event held in the picturesque grounds of Paleis Soestdijk in the Netherlands. Both the press and the public were left in awe, making it a milestone in automotive history.

Coming out

'Wheels at the Palace' (formerly Concours d’Elegance) has rapidly become the signature outdoor automotive event in the Netherlands. This year, on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of September 2023, the majestic grounds of Paleis Soestdijk became the focal point of the country's car enthusiasts. Against this backdrop, the new deBruyn Ferox V8 was presented to the general public for the first time.

Introducing the deBruyn FeroxV8

With his new supercar brand, Maarten de Bruyn did the seemingly impossible. In a bold move that probably surprised many, he once again built an extraordinary sports car from scratch. As CARROS Magazine succinctly puts it: he did it simply because 'he can do it'. And there is undoubtedly a market for such artistry.

Work of Art

Aptly named the 'deBruyn Ferox V8,' this supercar isn't just a machine; it's a piece of art. Weighing in at 1050kg and boasting 500hp drawn from a 6.2-liter V8 engine, its power is undeniable. But it's the car's construction that truly sets it apart. Hand-hammered aluminum forms its body, which is mounted on a bonded aluminum chassis. Both the exterior and interior unmistakably bear the signature of Maarten de Bruijn, who builds on his previous Spyker C8 creations.
